RoleChamp is an Australian career platform built for frontline workers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the RoleChamp app or website.

What information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email address when you create an account or join the waitlist
- Your work history, skills, and employment preferences when building your CV through the intake process
- Your responses during coaching sessions and career check-ins
- Your job search preferences including location, industry, and role type
Information we collect automatically
- Device type and operating system
- App usage data and feature interactions (via PostHog analytics)
- Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry)
- Push notification delivery status
We collect only the information necessary to deliver the RoleChamp service. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting privacy@rolechamp.com.au.
How we use your information
- To build and improve your CV based on your intake responses
- To match you with relevant job listings via the Adzuna jobs API
- To deliver personalised coaching sessions and career missions
- To send you push notifications about new job matches and coaching reminders
- To improve the RoleChamp product through anonymised usage analytics
- To communicate with you about your account and our service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
Third-party services we use
RoleChamp uses the following third-party services to operate the product. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Hosted in Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2).
- Anthropic — powers the CV generation and coaching features via secure server-side API calls. Your data is never stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of a single request.
- Adzuna — provides job listing data for the daily job feed.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription billing. We do not store your payment details directly.
- PostHog — anonymised product analytics.
- Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting.
- Expo — push notification delivery infrastructure.
All third-party services used by RoleChamp are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We maintain data processing agreements with these providers so your information is handled appropriately.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2 region). We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@rolechamp.com.au. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time

Children's privacy
RoleChamp is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with their information, contact us immediately at privacy@rolechamp.com.au.

We update this Privacy Policy when our information handling practices change. We notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of RoleChamp after the updated policy is published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
