RoleChamp is an Australian career platform built for frontline workers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the RoleChamp app or website.

What information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email address when you create an account or join the waitlist
- Your work history, skills, and employment preferences when building your CV through the intake process
- Your responses during coaching sessions and career check-ins
- Your job search preferences including location, industry, and role type
Information we collect automatically
- Device type and operating system
- App usage data and feature interactions (via PostHog analytics)
- Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry)
- Push notification delivery status
We collect only the information necessary to deliver the RoleChamp service. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting hello@rolechamp.com.au.
Third-party services we use
To provide RoleChamp, we share certain information with the following services. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — stores your account data, CV content, job matches, coaching sessions, and generated documents. Servers located in Sydney, Australia. supabase.com/privacy
- Anthropic — your CV details, work history, and coaching conversation content are processed by Anthropic's AI systems on our behalf, through our secure servers, to generate your CV, packets, and coaching responses. This processing occurs server-side only — your data is never sent directly from your device. anthropic.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — processes your subscription and purchase information. revenuecat.com/privacy
- PostHog — anonymised usage analytics only. No names, emails, or CV content. posthog.com/privacy
- Sentry — error monitoring. Configured to automatically remove personal information from error reports. sentry.io/privacy
- Adzuna — job listings source. Your job preferences and location are used to retrieve relevant listings. adzuna.com.au/privacy
- Resend — transactional emails (account confirmations, notifications). resend.com/privacy
- Apple — in-app purchases and subscriptions. apple.com/privacy
- Expo — push notifications. Your device push token is used for this purpose. expo.dev/privacy
All third-party services used by RoleChamp are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We maintain data processing agreements with these providers so your information is handled appropriately.
How we use your information
- To build and improve your CV based on your intake responses
- To match you with relevant job listings via the Adzuna jobs API
- To deliver personalised coaching sessions and career missions
- To send you push notifications about new job matches and coaching reminders
- To improve the RoleChamp product through anonymised usage analytics
- To communicate with you about your account and our service
RoleChamp uses AI systems to generate your CV, produce job application packets, and deliver career coaching. When you use these features, the relevant content — such as your work history and coaching conversation — is processed by AI systems on our behalf. This happens on our secure servers, not directly from your device. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2 region). We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account data, CV, packets, and coaching history for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after you close your account. If you request deletion, we delete your personal data within 14 days. Usage analytics are retained for 12 months rolling. Error logs are retained for 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — email hello@rolechamp.com.au. We respond within 30 days.
- Correct your data — update most information directly in the app, or email us.
- Delete your data — email hello@rolechamp.com.au with subject "Delete my account". Processed within 14 days.
- Opt out of analytics — email hello@rolechamp.com.au.

Data breaches
In the event of a data breach likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected users and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Children's privacy
RoleChamp is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with their information, contact us immediately at hello@rolechamp.com.au.
Changes to this policy
We update this Privacy Policy when our information handling practices change. We notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of RoleChamp after the updated policy is published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
